Bloom and Glow. Because It's All Special.
Our story begins on a solo road trip across America.
Having lived in Colorado her entire life, our founder, Ashly Ulrich, set out to explore new places and new versions of herself. First stop: Nashville, Tennessee. Known as the bachelorette capital of the United States, Nashville is a city where women gather to toast to love and new beginnings, to choosing and being chosen.
But Ashly wasn’t there to honor a commitment to another; she was celebrating a commitment to herself. So as she took in the flashing lights and wild celebrations, a thought struck her: Why don’t we celebrate more moments in our lives like this?
Typical celebrations for women include baby showers and bachelorette parties, and for some, those are beautiful, meaningful steps. For others, those choices don’t align with their path, and that doesn’t mean they aren’t making moves equally worthy of wild celebrations, such as:
- moving to new cities alone
- coming out to loved ones
- setting boundaries
- taking up new hobbies
- starting therapy
- walking away from unfulfilling relationships or jobs
- becoming first generation college graduates
Bloom and Glow exists to encourage people to honor personal victories, no matter how big, small, or out of the ordinary or unconventional - to give people who live beyond tradition meaningful ways to celebrate themselves, in every moment.
